Job Description

Technical / Functional:
1. 3 to 5 years of overall exp in Data warehouse and 3+ years of professional experience in SAP-BI.
2. Hands on exposure in Implementation and Maintenance of SAP Business Warehouse Applications; Should have minimum 1 implementation experience.
3. Strong exposure in SAP-BI areas like Extraction, Transformation, Reporting and performance tuning
4. Experience in working with standard Infocubes, Multiproviders, Infosources, Infoobjects and ODS.
5. Experience in support involving maintenance of Process Chains, data loads and resolving the errors.
6. Solving tickets related to various areas like load failures, report issues & data inconsistency problems.
7. Having experience in monitoring of data loading for master and transactional data on a regular basis.
8. Good knowledge of various aspects of BW like Administration Workbench, Infocube design, ODS object design, Datasources, Infosources, Transfer rules, Update rules, Infopackages, Data Extraction, LO Cockpit, Data Load Management, Performance Tuning, Aggregates, Infocube Maintainence like Compression, Indexes, DB Statistics, Business Content.
9. Knowledge on SAP CRM/ERP modules, SD module and their extracts are added advantage
10. Knowledge of various Data Design Models â€" Star Schema and Extended Star Schema Models.


Other Skills
At least one of the following skills is required:
1. Knowledge on SAP Finance, Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Integrated Planning (IP) and Business Planning and Simulation (BPS) is must to have skills; Strong knowledge in ABAP from BI point of view is must to have skills.
2. Knowledge on SAP HR, Learning solution and Education; Strong knowledge on Data modeling and implementation is must to have skills; Strong knowledge in ABAP from BI point of view is must to have skills.
3. Knowledge on SAP HR, Reporting, BI-Performance and Administration is must to have skills; Strong knowledge on Data modeling and implementation is must to have skills; Strong knowledge in ABAP from BI point of view is must to have skills.
