Job description
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in SAP R/3 admin. Good database (oracle or DB2) and unix knowledge and preferable experience in SAP components such as BW, CRM, SCM, EP, APO, XI.
Must have worked in most of these SAP activities : SAP Health checks, Kernel upgrades, Client Copies, Client Admin, System refresh, SAP Transporting & STMS configuration, Queue Monitoring, Printer Administration, Applying Service packs, Analyze and implement Go-live & Early watch recommendations, SAP Security, Use and knowledge of SAP Service Market place /OSS, SAP Batch Jobs, SAP Language Import, Troubleshooting and Performance tuning.
Must have worked in most of these DB (Oracle or DB2) activities : Database administration â€" table reorgs, extending tablespaces, monitor database backups, database recovery, database troubleshooting and performance tuning, apply database patches, configure and setup TSM for backups, troubleshooting TSM backup problems.
Having preferable unix (AIX or HP or Sun or linux) knowledge.
We need Senior SAP Basis professionals who have experience in Installation/Upgrades and providing 3rd level support to the customers. The candidate must have atleast 3 years of SAP Basis experience with sound knowledge in OS/DB and performance tuning. The candidate should have worked in atleast any of the following New Dimension products : R3E, APO, CRM, XI ,BC, BW and Portals. OS/DB migration experience will be an added advantage.
Bachelor's Degree
