Job Description
• Responsible for performance & uptime of business critical applications.
• Define backup & recovery processes & ensure its adherence.
• Ensure strict adherence of scheduled backup & sample restoration activity
• Ensure business continuity volume replications & define process around it.
• Coordinate with outsourced partners system & database related operational issues.
Job Requirements
Experience:- 7-12 Years
• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant professional IT background
• Working experience on Database administration & unix system administration
• Working experience in Oracle 9i or any other RDBMS
• Should be familiar with High end operating systems like …SUN solaris, or HP UNIX and should have worked on large SAN and other storage devices.
• Application administration experience on any of following will be an added advantage.
o SAP
o Siebel
o EAI
o Kenan
• Excellent communication skills in writing, presenting and listening
• Strong analytical skills working in a highly complex IT environment
• Flexibility to work extended hours (build 24x7 operations support)
