Profile Details : BIW - Skills Profile
• The consultant uses the BW Administrator Workbench to perform the functions provided by BW:
• Establish connections to the BW sources
• Activate the standard Business Content
• Enable the standard InfoProviders and Queries
• Develop and Enhance the InfoProviders, ODS Objects, Datamarts, Aggregates, etc.
• Develop and Enhance the Queries as required
• Evaluate statistical performance and make recommendations to Basis support for o optimization where possible
• Designing the data solution to satisfy defined business requirements
• Mapping the data to the BW environment
• Identifying data quality gaps
• Configuring the required Extraction and setting up Process Chains
• Testing of all developed programs
• Ensuring testing of data from various sources
• Developing a production support plan
• Good knowledge of the Accelerated SAP methodology and tools
• Knowledge of application software tools, including presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications
• Expertise on BW system (BW 3.5 and SAP BI 7.0)
• Expertise on multidimensional modeling
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
